BossGate — Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

Account Data (Pro Subscribers)
When you purchase BossGate Pro, Stripe processes your payment. We receive and store:

Email address (for account access and receipts)
Purchase date and current plan status
Subscription renewal date

We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or billing address — Stripe handles all payment data.

Data We Collect (Continued)

App Gating Selections — When you configure which apps to block, those choices are stored server-side to sync your gates across browsers. This data is tied to your account.
Boss Fight Stats — Wins, losses, scores, and difficulty tiers are stored to power the adaptive difficulty system. This data is anonymous and stored under your account identifier.
Unlock Duration Preferences — Your chosen access window (5/10/15/20 minutes) is stored per-app so you can customize each gate.
Chrome Extension Data — The extension stores a session cookie locally in your browser. Blocked domains and fight stats are stored in the extension's local storage. This data stays on your device unless you are logged in to a Pro account (in which case it syncs to your account).

How We Use Your Data

To provide the service — gate blocking, boss fight generation, difficulty scaling, unlock timing
To manage your subscription — account access, renewal notifications, receipts
To improve the product — aggregate statistics on boss fight difficulty, win rates
To respond to support requests — if you contact us, we may read your account data to help you

We do not sell your data. We do not use analytics trackers. We do not share your data with third parties except Stripe (payment processing) and Polsia infrastructure (hosting).

Stripe Payment Data

Payments are processed by Stripe (stripe.com). We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to their handling of your payment data: https://stripe.com/privacy

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing bossgate@polsia.app. We will delete all personal data within 30 days.

Delete your data — email us and we will remove it
Object to processing — email us with your concern

Cookies

BossGate uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Children's Privacy

BossGate is not designed for or directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we change what data we collect, we will update this page and notify you by email (for Pro subscribers) or by updating the date at the top of this page.
